Knoblinger strengthens the management

On April 4, 2022, Jürgen Zuser will strengthen the management of the conveyor system manufacturer Knoblinger from Ried. The managing partners Alfred and Erich Knoblinger will continue to contribute their many years of experience and expertise to the company.

Full order books

The growth course at Knoblinger is unbroken despite the current geopolitical events and the pandemic. In the last year alone, the company was able to grow by around 30 percent in terms of sales and the number of employees. Although Russia, a recently important growth market, is disappearing, the order books are still well filled and the economic outlook is positive.

“We are currently seeing strong efforts across Europe to become more independent of natural gas and expect that in the heating sector, in addition to heat pumps, pellet heating systems in particular will become more important,” says Alfred Knoblinger.

The best minds in the region

In order to develop further growth potential at Knoblinger and its customers in the wood industry, Knoblinger is also looking for the best minds in the region in order to ultimately bring further added value to the region. In order to use the available resources optimally, we are constantly working on making the existing organization even more efficient and supporting it with digital assistants. In general, the company sets high standards when it comes to creating a good working environment with good personal development opportunities for employees. To this end, further initiatives and special employee programs are currently being initiated. The aim is to ensure that the workforce enjoys the performance at Knoblinger in the long term.

“Due to the strong growth, we also have to continuously develop our organization further. Jürgen Zuser has already supported us with great satisfaction in the past few years and will now push this conversion even further,” says Alfred Knoblinger.

Expansion in Ried

The continued strong growth of the last few years is also reflected in the expansion at the company location in Ried. After the construction of the new production hall and the investment in another powerful laser cutting system with a total investment volume of seven million euros, the construction of an additional office building is planned for this year. In addition, Knoblinger intends to strategically position itself more broadly over the next few years in order to continue to operate successfully in the future, regardless of geopolitical events. In order not to lose any time with all these challenging tasks, the management at Knoblinger will be strengthened by Jürgen Zuser, who has been supporting Knoblinger in an advisory capacity since 2018 and from now on will primarily take care of the operational management of the company. Since he already knows the company very well, he will be fully involved from day one. In addition to his work at Knoblinger, Jürgen Zuser has supported numerous other Upper Austrian medium-sized and industrial companies in various tasks as a consultant and interim manager in recent years.

“It is a responsible task to continue what two generations of a family have successfully built. We have found each other well in recent years and I am therefore looking forward to the challenging task of being able to help shape the current growth course and to support the owner family in the next generational transition,” says Zuser.
