The metal division deals with the discharge and transport of dust in steelworks. Primarily the dust transport of secondary dust removal from various blast furnaces or electric arc furnaces, through to the dust transport from primary dust removal. In some areas, bulk material temperatures of up to 300 – 400°C and radiation temperatures of up to 600°C are to be expected, which require special materials and constructions.

Knoblinger’s conveying systems, in cooperation with our partner Primetals, are in operation at all major steel plants around the world.

Our solutions mainly include trough chain conveyors, belt and bucket elevators, belt conveyors, trough and pipe screws, all combined with dosing hoppers, loading systems, and silo discharge units. Every plant is precisely engineered according to customer-specific requirements.
